When it comes to brand representation, effective social media campaigning can be the difference between blending in and standing out.
My approach to social marketing stems from the idea that whilst yes, attention is important, trust and moral alignment are paramount.
In order to turn passive scrollers into loyal followers, a certain amount of authenticity must be portrayed, along with creativity, individuality, and direction, all whilst following a high-retention focused model.
There lies a collection of tools at one’s disposal, ranging from short form video to copywriting, all of which equally share a responsibility in building sustainable community engagement at a core level.
The tools used in my campaigns are short form vertical video (reels, shorts, TikTok), long form horizontal video (YouTube), photography (portraits, product, BTS), graphics (infographics, data representation), written word (blogs, captions), carousel (photos/videos) as well as link sharing, cross-platform promotion and Generative AI. I strongly believe in using analytical tools in order to ensure SEO is at its best, as well as optimising retention rates and keeping viewers/readers engaged for longer, in order to create a B2C bond that builds a relationship between brand and audience. Metrics such as watch time on YouTube, click-through-rate on targeted Instagram ads, as well as community engagement on platforms like Facebook, Reddit and LinkedIn are some of the most important to me.
